I have a fairly powerful PC so that shouldn't be the problem. It still works and detects my playing and everything, but there's no effects and I can barely hear myself. My other main issue is that after playing one song (if I'm lucky) the effects on the guitar just go away and it's a quiet, clean sound. I had this same problem when I calibrated my first profile but after adjusting the Windows properties on the cable to "DVD Quality" I got it to work.some of the time. I tried creating a second profile, but when it goes to the calibration it won't register any sound from my guitar. Every other time I have to close the program and try again. Every once in a while it works for no discernible reason.
